SKIN ANALYSIS AND EQUIPMENT

A good facial begins before any product or machine touches the skin. Students learn to identify skin types and conditions, recognise skin diseases and disorders, and run a proper client consultation that covers contraindications, the reasons a treatment should be delayed or avoided altogether. On the equipment side, the advanced track builds machine knowledge alongside the technique itself, including microcurrent devices, an introduction to LED therapy, and the sanitation and sterilisation standards that keep a treatment room safe between clients. Students also learn how to set up a workstation properly, so the equipment side of the job becomes second nature rather than an afterthought.
